  • Naperville Public Library:
    • Teen Advisory Group, Member
    • As a TAG volunteer, I not only earn community service hours but also develop leadership skills, collaborate with peers on projects, and contribute ideas that shape teen activities, collections, and spaces. I gain insight into how the Library serves a diverse community, while connecting with other teens who share my love of reading, gaming, and creating.

    • Education Mentor
    • I am honored to contribute towards educational content used by Solicitude Kenya organization. As part of my volunteer work, I create educational and motivational videos that are used to educate and create an impact in the community.

    • ​As Director of Biology and Illinois Ambassador, I work with YSA to organize educational events that engage and inspire the community. It’s a meaningful platform to spark curiosity, promote STEAM awareness, and empower youth to explore the world of science.

    • ​​I love engaging with my community —whether it’s presenting at school science fairs, participating in ‘Bring Your Child to Work’ events at my mom’s workplace, or contributing to technology talks and activities at my future high school.

Youth STEAM Advisors - Biosciences Event - Sep, 2025

As a mentor at YSA’s Biosciences event, I gave a talk on genomics, highlighting why it is important to understand our genetic makeup—what makes us who we are—and the exciting advances shaping this field. The event reached an international audience of over 40 participants, ranging from middle school students to undergraduates. To reinforce the session, I followed up with an interactive quiz that allowed participants to test their knowledge and deepen their learning.
